Saturday Catch Up

Seems like ages since I just sat and told you all what's been going on in my life.
So, I stopped posting my 5 Good Things way back in October (where the hell did that time go?!) because I was waiting until I could include my skydive as one. Well, 3 months after training I finally did my first solo, static line jump!

This is the best freeze frame of the video - right when I'm on the foot wide step before jumping out. Quite honestly was probably the best experience of my entire life. I landed in the wrong field, but it was the one right next to where I was meant to be... Otherwise problem free!

I started Project 365 at the beginning of January and am so far 115 days in, day for day. Have managed to include a picture (some notably boring) every single day so far.

Of course I watched the Royal Wedding yesterday. I actually slept through it, right up until the balcony moments (lets blame the jet lag?) but avidly watched the highlights in the evening and have fallen a little bit in love with Kate Middleton. I hadn't realised just how pretty she actually is.

The jet lag, a tag on from my trip to the US. I got back on Thursday and it was brilliant. I'm impressed with how many things we fit into a two and a half week trip. Main areas were Austin, Texas to see my brother (also received the nicest email from a reader with well wishes for my stay, much appreciated), San Francisco and we also drove up half of Highway One on the West Coast, until we reached the point where the road had given way. It happened a month before we arrived but I was still a little nervous seeing the drop down to the ocean!

The last picture is of a shirt on Haight Street in San Francisco (famous for hippie dwellings I believe?) Had some hilarious t shirts in there. If you're ever in SF I recommend hunting it down.

Linking in with my catch up, Carla of Girl With The Golden Touch tagged me last week with the Kreativ Blogger award.

You have to list ten facts about yourself, then list ten of your go to blogs that you tag with this award!

The dirt on me;
001: I always look for a Bible when staying in hotels, despite not being Christian. And, I'm always a bit lost when they're isn't one there.

002: I create elaborate day dreams in my head of the negative kind. For example I always imagine my plane will crash, that car will back out into the main road etc.

003: I legitimately idolise Fearne Cotton and Khloé Kardashian.

004: I adore banter and taboo jokes.

005: I don't forgive as easily as I once did, but I do. But, I never forget. I have a tendency to remember random insignificant moments in life.

006: If organising was a hobby then it would be the top of my list. I absolutely love clearing out and putting back in order.

007: I am the suffer in silence type unless it's something along the trivial type of sold out of Glamour, bad customer service...

008: The move to Uni has made me so much more confident and so much less likely to go along with something just because everyone else is, like I used to. I speak my mind more than I ever did before.

009: Holidays make me read, so I am ploughing through Sara Shepherd's Pretty Little Liar series. Just ordered up to the fourth book and I'm dying to find out what happens.

010: I wouldn't care if everyone on the planet hated UGGs they would still cosy up my feet throughout winter.
